The artists Nicolai Howalt and Marie Anine Møller is installing an exhibition, integrating their two projects “Silver Migration” and “Porcelain Sea” to create a dialogue between absence and presence through an investigation of their medium. Howalt’s photographs are made on expired photo paper and doesn’t involve either light or a camera. Møller’s sculptural installations, where organic objects are decaying in the constructions its been placed within, appear as photographs both with and without the presence of paper. It’s a conversation about the the photographic medium, that always involve time and through that fact always deals with decay and the instant freezing of the elements and objects we surround ourselves with.
